Lauren’s choice for her aisle song set the perfect tone for the ceremony. As the music swelled, she walked down the aisle to the soothing and timeless Canon in D, a piece that’s both romantic and majestic. It was the perfect soundtrack to a moment she’ll never forget. The flowers Lauren carried were just as dreamy as her vision for the day. “White peonies” were her choice, and they couldn’t have been more fitting. Soft, romantic, and timeless—just like the rest of her wedding. Even the most organized and excited brides feel a little nervous as the big moment approaches. We asked Lauren how she calmed her pre-ceremony jitters. “I squashed the nerves by trying to just relax the time before walking down the aisle,” she shares. It’s all about taking those deep breaths and soaking in the love and excitement around you.

Lauren’s cake was a showstopper, and the flavors? Absolutely divine. “Champagne with raspberry cake” was the flavor combo she went for, a perfect match for the day’s sophisticated vibe. It’s no surprise it was a favorite among the guests, who couldn’t stop raving about it! When asked what her favorite moment of the day was, Lauren’s response was heartwarming: “Our last private dance.” It’s a beautiful reminder of the quiet, intimate moments that couples share after the whirlwind of the big day. A chance to soak it all in, just the two of them.

Every bride hopes for a few surprises on her wedding day, and for Lauren, it was all about the venue. “Best surprise—how amazing the venue was. We loved everything from the Madewell team,” she says.
