A Venue and the Beginning

At Madewell Estates, we pride ourselves on being more than just a venue—we’re a place where love stories come to life, where families gather, and where dreams come true. With its timeless architecture, grand chandeliers, and serene countryside setting, our space was designed to host weddings that are both stunning and deeply personal.

For Taylor and Lukas, the connection to Madewell Estates began long before the doors officially opened. They toured the venue during its early building phase, when much of what we now see was still just a vision on paper. But that didn’t stop them from falling in love with what Madewell was becoming. Taylor could already picture herself walking down the aisle surrounded by white florals, soft greenery, and timeless elegance. It was clear from the start—this was where their forever would begin.

A Joyful Start: The Rehearsal Dinner

The celebration began the night before with a festive and joyful rehearsal dinner at Madewell Estates. Taylor and Lukas made full use of the space, setting the stage—literally—for a night of laughter, love, and anticipation. The couple added a fun and modern photo op with oversized marquee letters placed on the stage, which created a glowing backdrop for memories with their wedding party and guests.

Preslea Thompson kept spirits high behind the bar, serving festive winter cocktails that perfectly matched the cozy, celebratory vibe of the evening. Dinner was catered by Gilberts, bringing warm, comforting flavors to the table and treating guests to a delicious, relaxed gathering before the big day. It was the perfect way to kick off the weekend, surrounded by family, friends, and an atmosphere full of love.

A Vision of Classy, Timeless Beauty

Taylor’s wedding day vision came to life in the most elegant way. The décor was a stunning reflection of her classic taste, with crisp white florals, crystal accents, and a delicate touch of baby blue woven throughout the day. Everything—from the ceremony backdrop to the reception tables—was carefully curated to feel both luxurious and inviting. The overall theme was classy and timeless, and it perfectly complemented the natural beauty and architectural charm of Madewell Estates.

Heirlooms & Heartfelt Traditions

The ceremony began with a powerful moment as Taylor walked down the aisle to “The Goodness of God,” a song that speaks to faith, gratitude, and love. It was the perfect soundtrack to the heartfelt promises being exchanged beneath our grand chandeliers.

Some of the most moving parts of Taylor and Lukas’s day came in the form of personal details rooted in family history. Taylor wore her great-grandmother’s gold rose brooch, along with pearls that once belonged to Lukas’s grandmother—two treasured heirlooms that added meaning and legacy to her bridal look.

One of the most unique and cherished parts of the ceremony was a prayer led by Taylor’s grandfather, with their family surrounding them. This touching moment brought generations together and grounded the celebration in love, faith, and unity. In addition to the heartfelt prayer during the ceremony, Taylor and Lukas created a celebration that felt deeply personal from beginning to end. Every detail, from the color palette to the sentimental touches, reflected their love story and values. Guests were also invited to sign a family Bible at the entryway, and a memory table honored loved ones who were there in spirit—a beautiful way to keep them close throughout the day.

Capturing Moments & Calming Nerves

Taylor shared that her favorite part of the day was their first look—a quiet, emotional moment between her and Lukas before the whirlwind began. Like many brides, she felt a few nerves as the big day arrived, but she focused on the love and support from the people around her and stayed present in each moment. “We just enjoyed our time with everyone,” she said, and that joy was felt throughout every part of the day.

Parting Words of Wisdom

When asked what advice she’d give other couples planning their wedding, Taylor said it best:
“Just soak it all in & enjoy it! It really does go by so fast. Don’t get worked up on all the little things—it will all work out perfectly. Most importantly, make sure your day represents you.*”

A Perfect Fit at Madewell Estates

When reflecting on the venue, Taylor shared that her favorite space was the ceremony area, especially “the grand chandeliers!”—an elegant focal point that set the tone for the entire event. As for working with our team? “Everyone was very kind & easy to work with,” she said—something we strive for with every couple who walks through our doors.

We’re so honored to have been a part of Taylor and Lukas’s wedding weekend and loved seeing their vision come to life at Madewell Estates. Here’s to a lifetime of love, laughter, and cherished memories!
