Some weddings leave an indelible impression not just for their beauty, but for the heart behind every detail. Victoria and Swade’s celebration at Madewell Estates was exactly that—an unforgettable day infused with their personalities and style, making it a truly special occasion.

The couple’s design vision was centered on classic minimalism—a timeless approach that highlighted the natural beauty of their venue while maintaining a sophisticated elegance. As Victoria shared, “We wanted the decor to reflect our love for simplicity. Our wedding colors were emerald green, gold, and white, and we kept the design simple to allow the venue’s natural beauty to shine through.” Reception tables were adorned with emerald green table runners, paired with vases in varying sizes. Some vases held floating tea lights, casting a warm, romantic glow, while others were filled with pearls and topped with pillar candles for a timeless look. One of the personal touches that stood out was repurposing the bridesmaid bouquets as table decor—adding an extra layer of elegance and charm.

Victoria made her grand entrance to Lauren Alaina’s “Just Wanna Know That You Love Me,” a moment that carried both meaning and emotion. “I remember walking down the aisle, carrying my bouquet of pink and white roses, white ranunculus, pink roses, and eucalyptus,” she said. “It was such a beautiful, intimate moment that set the tone for the day.” With every step, she embodied the essence of classic beauty and heartfelt love that defined their wedding.

No wedding is complete without the perfect menu, and Victoria and Swade selected a spread that was both comforting and memorable. Their guests enjoyed a Texas BBQ feast! “We both love BBQ, so it felt like a natural choice,” Victoria explained. For dessert, they went with a red velvet wedding cake, adding a classic and indulgent touch!

It was the personal details that truly set Victoria and Swade’s wedding apart. One of the most touching elements was having Swade’s nieces serve as their “something blue.” “Since they’re older, it felt really special to include them in such a meaningful way,” Victoria said. Another unique touch was the wedding programs, which Victoria designed herself just days before the wedding. “It was a last-minute idea, but it ended up being a memorable highlight of the evening,” she said, reflecting on how the programs added a personalized flair to the ceremony!

The couple’s private first look and vow reading also became one of the most cherished moments of their day. “I didn’t expect to feel so emotional just walking down the stairs to meet Swade,” Victoria said. “It was such a beautiful, intimate moment that meant so much to both of us.” Their first look allowed them to connect privately before sharing their vows with friends and family—an experience that calmed their nerves and set the tone for the rest of the celebration.

Another emotional moment came from Victoria’s mother, who gifted her a ring that once belonged to her father. “My mom gave me a ring that my dad had given her, with his birthstone, opal, which is also the birthstone for October—the month we got married,” Victoria shared. “It’s such a special gift that I will cherish forever.”

Swade’s father also contributed a personal touch to the day by having bolo ties made with the couple’s engagement photo. “It was such a fun and unique idea, and it added a lot of personality to the day,” Victoria said.

As the day came to a close, Victoria and Swade shared a quiet moment together, reflecting on their journey. “I felt relieved, grateful, and so, so blessed,” Victoria said, looking back on their wedding day. “Having everyone I care about the most surround and encourage us as we start this new journey together was my favorite part of the day.”

For couples currently planning their own weddings, Victoria’s advice is simple but profound: “Enjoy the process and remember, the wedding is only one day, but your marriage will last a lifetime.”

The Madewell Estates Experience

Victoria and Swade were so grateful for the role Madewell Estates played in bringing their vision to life. “Everyone on the Madewell team was so kind and helpful,” Victoria said. “They truly made this day unforgettable. The team was incredibly supportive and made sure everything went smoothly.”

As for their favorite part of the venue? “The bar area,” Victoria said with a smile. “It had a moody, intimate vibe that offered a cozy spot for guests to relax and connect if they needed a break from the lively reception.”

From the heartfelt moments to the personalized touches, Victoria and Swade’s wedding at Madewell Estates was a perfect reflection of their love, blending classic design with meaningful details that made the day uniquely their own.
